He holds an MBBS, MD (Radiodiagnosis), and a Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Shetty is proficient in a wide range of interventions, including diabetic foot management, varicose vein treatment, dialysis AV fistula creation & maintenance, central vein occlusion interventions, uterine artery embolization for fibroids, prostatic artery embolization for BPH, DVT management, and liver tumour therapies such as trans-arterial chemoembolization (TACE) and microwave tumour ablation.

His global training includes Trans-arterial Chemoembolization at SNUCM, Korea and Microwave Tumour Ablation at CCMA Centre of Excellence, Anhui Province Cancer Hospital, China.
